Simple things for the win

A burrata. Thin slices of coppa di stagione. Say no more. Simple yet super complexed flavors that are actually best experienced on their own. Often we tend to complicate things when it comes to food. (Other things in life too to be honest..) Restaurants and recipes with too much words explaining the food is a big no no for me. Like a warning sign to avoid disappointment.

The Italians know and master the art of food simplicity. To let the very best ingredients shine by themselves. I like that.

Breakfast sandwich at hotel Excelsior in Napoli created by me at the hotel buffé. Sourdough, prosciutto, raw fennel, olive oil, black pepper. Enjoyed with un caffé. So so good.
